Seniors

I have realized at this point that I enjoy teaching middle school grades and hopefully someday, high school.  I will never be an elementary school teacher.  I spent the afternoon on Sunday, building my portfolio for Senior pictures.  While waiting for Kyle, I walked down the creek and met up with some more former students who were out practicing for their photo club.  I made them jealous talking about how M’town High actually had real dark rooms.  Now everything is digital and those rooms got demolished and sold off two renovations ago.  My memories of Vern….. (the shop teacher and his artistic flair(?))  What I also realized was that I miss these guys and I am so curious about where life will take them!

Anyway, I totally dig taking Senior pictures and need to do research about how these yearbook companies work.  Kyle was such a great sport as I tried out reflectors, lighting and composition.  His brother was an even bigger sport by helping me hold the equipment and following his brother’s instructions about how the light should hit his face.  (My brothers would have KILLED each other within the first two minutes.)

Here is just a highlight of Sunday.  Thanks Kyle and Zack!!!

With my kids in tow… the Foley’s were great sports.  The weather was so beautiful this weekend that I needed to take advantage.

Holiday Photo Packages

The October cards were distributed a little late and since today is the October 4th date…I had to cancel the sessions.  However,  I am going to set up dates for November.  Also, there is a price difference if you are interested in 50 slimline cards instead of the double sided folding cards.  I have appointments booked in New York on November 8th so if you are interested in the New York City area I will be available in the afternoon.
