the happiest baby ever…

love, love, love this little one.  i can not believe it took me forever to meet her.  not usually one that goes nuts over babies… i have changed my tune after just a moment with her.

I have to add one of her eating the leaves… 1st time parents… never moved so fast.  My second’s first taste of solid food… a worm.  I think she was looking for one!

and then my fav… from an artist point of view.

package 1 for seniors…

Ok, I have trying to insert this document and this is all i can do right now.  I am still learning how all of this functions.  I have worked out a package for my seniors.  I love shooting them and am excited to work with them.  My e-mail is debbiemcg@gmail.com for more details.  First two senior sessions I book get 20% off of their package.  Just mention this post.

Keep posted for more….

A rainy day at the farm…

Ok, we tried.  I do like what I got and I wanted to post a few right away.  I would first like to say how much I miss Michelle and wish we all lived closer to each other.  Every time we tried to go out the rain just came down.  i also realized that I can not go on photo shoots with my kids… I love them but it is so distracting.  I had so many more rainy ideas that just did not get done.

Another time….

getting ready for the wedding

Denise and I have partnered and have formed a wedding/event photography business.  I am so excited and will post a website as things start to come together.  We had our first wedding as a partnership on the Jersey Shore as two North-Easterners hit the beach.  We almost did not make it on the island because of the flooding  and when we got there everything was being set up for the inside.

I just wanted to post a few of the getting ready….

6 years later

As a sixth grade teacher, students leave in June and head off to the Middle School.  I usually run into them a few times as they move through the next six years.  They change tremendously within a year… but six!  Sometimes (ok, usually) it takes me a good 3-4 minutes to recognize them and then to pull names and which year I actually had them in class.. well, it’s tough. This senior I only had for history in sixth grade but once I spend a few minutes with him, it came back to me.  He was a great help.  I was preparing for my first wedding the next weekend and played around with my camera’s manual settings.  I was also disheartened that they do not teach camera stuff in his High School photography class.  I have such fond memories of the old darkroom down in the science wing that was completely disappeared since i attended.

Lovin’ Seniors!

I have a few posts to catch up on and really put my stuff together for Senior Packages.  I had a wonderful day with two kids at the farm.  This one has her mother’s infectious smile and warm heart. A true beauty.
