such cute kids

I have been experiencing something amazing!  It’s been ten years since I would find hours had flown by as I worked in the darkroom.  I would love manipulating images by the light.  I’ve got the feeling back!

please feel free to leave comments, I love to hear how my images make people feel.

Sneak Peek

just because I love it!

UES wedding

I can not even begin to explain how I feel about this past weekend’s wedding.  I work with both of these two and went to High School with Brad.  It was also the second wedding for Art + Life Photography and the place was SPECTACULAR!  Driving to Mallard Island (right at the bridge to LBI,) I tried to explain to Denise that everyone at the wedding either worked with me or i went to high school with and had not seen in 20 years. There were moments that i had to just put the camera down and take it all it (or because i was laughing too hard)  This was such a warm, kind-hearted, fun group of people and it was a pleasure.

these guys were so funny.  i should have realized that brad’s sense of humor runs in the family.

Brad was very adamant about not seeing Eileen before the wedding but it was getting a little ridiculous, he kept running into her as we were trying to get pictures done before all the light was gone (by the time of the ceremony)  We got them out there finally for the all boy pix.  lovin’ the bow-ties.

timmy kept the ceremony sweet and full of smiles.

and one more for this site.  All wedding stuff will be posted on our art + life photography blog, it’s just in the process of being put together as well as a logo and all that other business stuff.  This is for all of the teachers and friends that love, love, love these two!

Can you believe another family of seven!?!

After a long weekend of a wedding, I really thought I needed a break from the camera.  However, this family got in touch with me.  All the girls were home and did not want to miss this chance to get the family picture.  They were up for anything and I am thrilled to meet up with them.  The twins were students of mine and I loved seeing them.  We got to reminisce about how I caught them when they switched for an April fools joke (Mr. McD did not notice that day…giggle)  I have to put gallery on hold so I can catch up but I need to add a few as a teaser.

Can I just say… what a great looking family!

wedding time

a few weekends ago, i partnered with a fabulous artist/friend to create art + life photography.  it was been such a journey to come together to do this and i am beyond excited.  i really love working this someone to bounce ideas off of.  it was allowed me to become more comfortable with my own artistic vision.  i have known denise for many years through a mutual friend and finally made the call this summer after my workshop with Carla Ten Eyck.  since we don’t have a web-site up just yet, i am going to share a few images of Tina and Erik’s wedding.  The weather could not be worse.  two northeasterners hit the jersey shore.  almost did not make it to LBI because of flooding.  it continued to storm the entire night.  the whole wedding ended up in one room, ceremony, pictures, and reception.  thank goodness we brought the backdrop and set up our “photo booth” to do our group shots.

a family of seven

loved catching up with this family.  they are the best.  if you told me 14 years ago these two would have five kids, i would have laughed… long story.  they are family that truly enjoy each other and i could not be happier for them :-)  i love you guys and have missed you!
